CHAPTER 2.

AN ACT to authorize the town of Jefferson, in Jefferson county, to borrow the sum of sixteen hundred and fifty dollars to build a bridge across Rock river in said town, and to authorize the commissioners of the public debt of said town to loan said sum to said town.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. The town of Jefferson, in the county e of Jefferson, is hereby authorized and empowered to borrow of the commissioners of the public debt of said town for one year, and at a rate of interest not exceeding seven (7) per cent. per annum, the sum of sixteen hundred and fifty dollars ($1,650), for the purpose of building, and paying the expense of building, a bridge across Rock river in said town, at the point where said river intersects Milwaukee street in the city of Jefferson.

SECTION 2. The commissioners of the public debt of said town of Jefferson are hereby authorized and empowered to loan to the said town of Jefferson, for one year, and at a rate of interest not exceeding seven per cent. per annum, the sum of sixteen hundred and fifty dollars ($1,650), for the purpose aforesaid, out of any funds now in their hands or under their control which have been raised and collected under and by virtue of chapter one hundred and eighty-two (182) of the private and local laws of 1867, entitled "an act to amend an act entitled an act to enable the town of Jefferson to settle with its creditors, and an act amendatory thereto, being chapters two hundred and twentysix and four hundred and ninety-two of the local laws

of 1866," and under and by virtue of all acts amendatory of said chapter one hundred and eighty-two including chapter two hundred and fifty-one of the laws of 1878.

CHAPTER 3.

AN ACT to authorize the commissioners of the public lands to loan a portion of the trust funds of the state to the city of Wausau, in Marathon county.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. The commissioners of the public lands are hereby authorized to loan a portion of the trust funds of this state, not exceeding twenty thousand dellars, to the city of Wausau, in Marathon county, and said city of Wausau is hereby authorized to bor

SECTION 2. CHAPTER 4.

AN ACT to authorize the commissioners of public lands to loan a portion of the trust funds to the city of Berlin.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows :
