for budding scientists

New worlds may be conquered by the budding scientist! Worlds within worlds may be seen through the fine amateurs' models of microscopes now available. Great monsters live, battle and die in jungles not larger than the point of a pin; strange plants that are really animals bloom and suck into their "flowers" their living food: tiny crystals achieve the glory of a South Sea sunset: a bit of dust reveals unimagined mysteries.

A microscope is one of the finest gifts one can give the child of today. It is educational and fascinating at the same time.

Mr. Henry Santen, an expert in microscopic work will be in the Optical Department beginning November 29th and every day after that until Christmas. He will demonstrate the many uses of the microscope.
