This institution was removed from its old site in Tarrytown, to its present commodious quarters at West Haverstraw, April 1, 1905. The number of beds in the new institution available for patients is 45, which is nearly double the capacity of the Tarrytown building, which contained 25. During the year the Board of Managers of the hospital sustained a severe loss in the

death of Mr. J. Adriance Bush, who had taken a very active interest in the affairs of the institution from the date of its

inception.

The following bills of fare for the closing week of the fiscal year, submitted by the Superintendent at the request of this Department, give a fair idea of the range of diet at this institution:

Sunday:

Dinner Chicken, potatoes, squash, bread and butter, ice cream. Supper-Bread and butter, milk, peaches.

Monday:

Breakfast Oatmeal, bread and butter, coffee.

Dinner-Roast beef, potatoes, turnips, bread and butter, bread

pudding.

Supper-Bread and butter, milk, syrup.

Tuesday:

Breakfast Oatmeal, bread and butter, coffee.

Dinner-Pork loin, potatoes, corn, bread and butter.

Supper-Bread and butter, milk, tomatoes.

Wednesday:

Breakfast-Oatmeal, bread and butter, coffee.

Dinner-Lamb shoulder, potatoes, succotash, bread and butter,

corn starch pudding.

Supper-Bread and butter, milk, apple sauce.

Thursday:

Breakfast Oatmeal, bread and butter, coffee.

Dinner Corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, bread and butter,

rice pudding.
