About the author (1991)

Kevin Connolly is Professor of Psychology at Sheffield University. He has held visiting appointments at other universities in the USA, Italy, Hong Kong, Chile, Brazil and The Netherlands.
Margaret Martlew is a lecturer in psychology at Sheffield University.
