Annual primary day, tenth Tuesday before the day of general election — August 25, except in the city of New York, where the eighth Tuesday before the day of general election, shall be known as annual primary day, September 8. Registration days in all cities, except New York, and in villages of five thousand or more inhabitants, as follows: First day, Friday, October 9, 8 A. M. to 9 P. M. Second day, Saturday, October 10, 8 A. M. to 9 P. M. In the cities of Buffalo and Rochester the hours for registration are from 7 A. M. to 10 P. M. Registration days in New York city, as follows: Registration days in election districts other than in cities or villages of five thousand inhabitants or over, are: First day, Saturday, October 10, from 9 A. M. to 9 P. M. Second day, Saturday, October 17, from 9 A. M. to 9 P. M. Designation of polling places except in the city of Buffalo, Tuesday, September 1; in the city of Buffalo, August 3.
