SEC. 10. Such sum shall be included in the State taxes apportioned by the

Auditor General on all taxable property of the State, to be
levied, assessed and collected as other State taxes, and when
so assessed and collected, to be paid into the general fund to
reimburse the same for the money hereby appropriated.

AN ACT to amend section one of act number eleven of the - Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year nineteen hundred eleven, entitled "An act designating the days to be observed as holidays in the public schools of this State," and to add a new section providing for patriotic educational qualifications for graduation from eighth grade.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. Section one of act number eleven of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year nineteen hundred eleven, entitled "An act designating the days to be observed as holidays in the public schools of the State," is hereby amended to read as follows:

SEC. 1. The following days, namely, the first day of January, commonly called New Year's day, the thirtieth day of May, commonly called Memorial day, the fourth day of July, the first Monday of September, commonly called Labor day, and the twenty-fifth day of December, commonly called Christmas day, all Saturdays and all days appointed or recommended by the Governor of this State or the President of the United States as days of fasting and prayer or thanksgiving shall, in all the public schools of this State, be treated and considered as public holidays and on such above specified days there shall be no school sessions in any of such public schools of this State: Provided, That the salary of school officers and teachers shall be in no way affected by reason of the dismissal of school on any of the above mentioned days: Provided further, That on the following days, namely, the twelfth day of Febof other days. ruary, commonly called Lincoln's birthday, the twenty-second day of February, commonly called Washington's birthday, and the twelfth day of October, commonly called Columbus day, it shall be the duty of all school officers and teachers to have the schools under their respective charge observe such mentioned days, namely, the twelfth day of February, the twenty-second day of February, and the twelfth day of October, by proper and appropriate commemorative exercises, and such days shall not be considered as legal holidays for schools.

AN ACT to amend section three of act number three hundred eighty-one of the Public Acts of nineteen hundred thirteen, entitled "An act to regulate the sale, consignment, shipment, transportation and delivery to and purchase, acceptance, receipt and possession by any person, firm or corporation of any vinous, malt, brewed, fermented, spirituous, or intoxicating liquor when such person, firm or corporation resides in territory where the manufacture and sale of such liquors for beverage purposes is prohibited; to prohibit the same in certain cases; to prescribe means for the enforcement of the provisions of this act; and to repeal all acts/ and parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act."

intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes are prohibited by
any law, whether local or State-wide in its operation, truth-
ful statements of the amount and kind of liquor received, the
name and address of the consignor, the name and address of
the consignee, the purpose for which said liquor is intended
to be used, as stated upon the outside of the package contain-
ing such liquor; the date when received, the date when de-
livered and by whom and to whom delivered; after which
record shall be a blank space in which the consignee by him-
self or herself or his or her agent shall be required to sign
his or her true name before such liquors are delivered to such
consignee, which book shall be open to public inspection at
any time during the business hours of said company. Such
book shall constitute prima facie evidence as to the facts
therein stated, and be admissible as evidence in any court
in this State: Provided. That before any such liquors men-
tioned in section one of this act shall be delivered to any per-
son it shall be necessary for the consignee to make and file
with the railroad, express or transportation company at the
office of such company in the city, village or township to
which such liquor shall be consigned, an affidavit legally
sworn to stating therein that he or she is of full legal age
and legally entitled under the provisions of this act to have
such liquors delivered to him or her, which affidavit shall be
substantially in the following form:

AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an assignment clerk in circuit courts having three or more judges, defining his duties and fixing his salary therefor.
