Page 106 - Osage tribe numbers 1,798 persons, of which numter there are 877 full bloods and 921 mixed bloods. The full bloods are constantly decreasing in numbers and it is only a question of a few years when they will be extinct. The mixed bloods are increasing in numbers and are just as capable of becoming citizens and caring for themselves as the same number of white men. The Kaw number 213 persons, of which number 99 are full bloods. The same remarks applv to this trite that have been made about the Osage.

Page 11 - Territory, in addition to this support section 13 in each township in what is known as the Cherokee Outlet was reserved from settlement for university, normal school, and agricultural college purposes in the proclamation of the President of the United States opening those lands to settlement.
