Kelly does a good job of debunking Rhonda Byrne's claims that the "law of attraction" is actually a physical law, and that successful people have always used it.
Byrne claims in her book, "The
secret," that if you visualize something you want, you will draw it to you so that you get it, or it happens, or whatever.
It's a rehash of New Thought tactics that have been recurring for many years, as Kelly points out. Basically, as Kelly also points out, it promotes selfishness by professing to help people win their desires, regardless of the effects on other people.
